Getting warranty services
To carry out warranty repair of the device in an authorized service center, you must:
- present a completed standard certificate and a document confirming payment for the goods (goods receipt or cash receipt, expenditure invoice);
- back up important data, if necessary, delete all confidential information from the device and/or flash drive. TM NOUS and official service centers of the company are not responsible for damage or loss of data, files, applications or other software;
- before sending the product to the service center for maintenance, it is necessary to return the system to the original (factory) configurations, cancel all user settings and disconnect external connections, as well as independently remove the installed software, if any.
During the warranty period, the defective parts of the relevant goods of TM NOUS will either be repaired or replaced (at the discretion of the company), except for the cases specified in the “Disclaimer” section.
In case of dispute, TM NOUS reserves the right to refuse warranty service of goods. The company will also make the final decision on whether a particular product is subject to warranty service.
The manufacturer does not provide free service of the product and does not bear warranty obligations in the following cases:
a) in case of expiration of the warranty period from the date of sale of the goods;
b) if the product is damaged or has no a sticker with the IMEI and serial number, if the warranty seal is damaged or missing;
c) if the moisture indicator shows the presence of moisture in the product;
d) if the product has traces of attempts of opening or unqualified repair outside an authorized service center, as well as traces of interference with the pre-installed system software;
e) if damages (defects) are caused by interference with pre-installed software, exposure to virus programs or using third-party software; if there are any malfunctions caused by viruses or software incompatibility, as well as unauthorized modification of the firmware;
f) if the defect was caused by an accident or circumstances beyond the control of the user (fire, earthquake, lightning, voltage instability in the power supply network, etc.), deliberate or careless actions of the consumer or third parties;
g) if the device has mechanical damage (chips, cracks, holes) that have arisen after the product has been transferred to the consumer; defects caused by exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, corrosion, oxidation, ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects, etc., into the device;
h) if the product is damaged due to lack of grounding, mismatch of the parameters of power supply networks, unstable input voltage, incorrect connection to the electrical network, which caused damage to electronic components (burned places after electrical discharges, overheating, melting, cracking, etc.).
Attention! The presence of two (2) or less defective pixels on the display of the device according to the manufacturer’s policy is not considered as a warranty defect.
Limited Software Warranty
The manufacturer shall continuously improve the properties of the software of the products and recommends to always use the latest software version in the device. For some products, consumer can update the software using programs and applications available to it on the official website of the company, as well as by automatically updating the software of the product via the Internet.
NOUS makes no warranties (express or implied) on the pre-installed software, its quality, functionality, performance or compliance with certain goals. The company also does not guarantee that the functions available in the software will meet the specific requirements of the user and that the operation of the software will be error-free and uninterrupted. Therefore, the software is sold “as is” (without a quality guarantee from the company).
All TM NOUS devices are subject to official service from the manufacturer, which provides for free repair and elimination of product defects.
Manufacturer's warranty is valid for one to two years (depending on the model of your device) from the date of sale of goods in the retail network. The laws of your country may give you other rights regarding the sale of consumer goods. This Limited Warranty does not affect such rights.
