PRECAUTIONS

  • Read this manual carefully.
  • Use the product within the temperature and humidity limits specified in the technical data sheet.
  • Do not install the product near heat sources such as radiators, etc.
  • Do not allow the device to fall and be subject to mechanical loads.
  • Do not use chemically active and abrasive detergents to clean the product. Use a damp flannel cloth for this.
  • Do not overload the specified capacity. This may cause short circuit and electric shock.
  • Do not disassemble the product yourself - diagnostics and repair of the device must be carried out only in a certified service center.

How to install

  1. Install mounting braket on the water or gas pipe/valve
  2. Place the smart controller above valve and make sure that the controller shaft is directly inline with the axis of valve handle
  3. Tighten the screws at the both ends of the mounting braket (Make sure that center of the valve controller shaft is on the same axis as 
    the valve center shaft, otherwise the valve cannot be completely closed and opened)
  4. After that you can manually pull clutch ring down and check if the valve is opens and closes
  5. Connect device to the power

How to connect and use

  1. Make sure that the led indicator is flashing quickly. If not, hold the power button for 5 seconds untill the led starts blinking
  2. open Nous Smart Home app
  3. press + to add device
  4. choose the valve controller from switches directory(or you can use autoscan as well)
  5. confirm that the led is blinking
  6. fill your WiFi data(2.4GHz only) and start connection
  7. after pairing the smart valve is ready to be used.

Tips

- To reset device - press and hold power button for 5 seconds untill the led light is starts blinking(device ready to be paired again)

- If there is no WiFi - short press on power button will open and close the valve if needed.

- If there is no power - pull the clutch ring down and open or close the valve manually

- For preventing your valve to be stiffed with time, we would recommend you to schedule simple close-open sequence few time in a month.
