1. DESCRIPTION  

NOUS H1Z ZigBee Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) is a wireless smart radiator thermostat that operates via the Zigbee protocol using the NOUS app. The device provides automatic digital room temperature control with an accuracy of up to 0.5°C and supports integration with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
It replaces a standard mechanical radiator valve, regulating the flow of the heating medium automatically. It can be controlled remotely via smartphone or locally (on the thermostat body) and features an LED display for viewing settings.
A Zigbee gateway is strictly required!

To reverse the LED display: set the device to the "OF" state and press the rotary plate 5 times continuously (note that the "°" and "0.5°" symbols will not display).

3. SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

  • Please read this manual carefully.
  • Use the product within the temperature and humidity limits specified in the technical data sheet.
  • Do not install the product near heat sources such as radiators, etc.
  • Do not allow the device to fall or be subject to mechanical stress.
  • Do not use chemically active or abrasive detergents to clean the product. Use a damp flannel cloth instead.
  • Do not exceed the specified power rating. This may result in a short circuit and electric shock.
  • Do not disassemble the product yourself - diagnostics and repairs of the device should only be carried out at a certified service center.

 

4. CONNECTION

To connect the Nous device, you need a smartphone based on the Android or iOS mobile operating system with the Nous Smart Home application installed. This mobile application is free and available for download from Play Market and App Store. The QR code for the application is given below:

Importantly: you will need a Nous E1, Nous E7, Nous E15 or other Tuya compatible ZigBee gateway/hub

 

5. TRV INSTALLATION

Put battery in battery compartment
Display show "LA" flashing
Once valve needle is flush with the base
Install TRV with M30*1.5 screw thread Interface of valve. Tighten the copper ring
Press button on rotary plate lightly, it would flash "LA" TRV will match valve stroke, if match succefully, will active initial setting.
